At the Celia’s Pantry household, we like it hot and spicy. We’ve been growing our own chillies for years to feed this spicy habit. Various chilli sauces, oils and dishes were created, all were good, but the chilli jelly is a firm winner. It can be used with cold cuts, cheese and biscuits, to add a bit of tang to sandwiches or added to sauces and stir-fry to create a sweet and hot kick. It’s a glorious pinky orange colour with ruby red flakes scattered within the jelly, all from the home grown chilli of course, no added colourings are ever used. A jar also makes an excellent gift. There are 5 different strengths to make sure there is a jar for everyone.
Seasonal fruit jellies
Our delicately coloured and perfumed fruit jellies give a hint of the season to any dinner plate. It could be the sweet summer plum or blackberry through to the winter spiced cranberry. We only used local, seasonal, fresh fruits to compliment any meat or savoury dish. They can also be used in gravy and sauces and are magic spread over scones and in cakes!
Delicious as condiment or used as a glaze on red meat, chicken or game, we love our herb jellies for their versatility. They have a slightly sweeter edge so work well in many dishes. Each of the jellies are packed with the fresh herb picked straight from our garden. These too are seasonal so keep an eye out for what we have available for your pantry!
